Ex-Vanderbilt catcher up for Angels job
Former Vanderbilt catcher Josh Paul is reportedly expected to interview for the Los Angeles Angels managerial position. Mike Scioscia resigned after the Angels’ final game.
Paul, 43, played for the Angels in 2004-05. He rejoined the team in November as the bench coach.
Paul spent the previous three seasons as the New York Yankees' catching coordinator.
During his nine-year playing career in the majors, Paul also played for the White Sox, Cubs and Rays.

... get another shot at managing.

Wikipedia (not always reliable) says that JC was interim manager of the Marlins for 5 games in 2012 when Ozzie Guillen was on suspension.

Baseball-reference.com, however, does not list Cora with any managerial experience.
