....something Corey said during the broadcast made me think a bit. He mentioned ETSU had a successful spring season. I wonder if the fact the fcs schools just played a season has them more in mid season form and that's why there have been so many upsets by FCS schools. That is an interesting point ...

I don't think we can definitively say that with absolute confidence. We can certainly hope it ends up true sometime this season, but the QB play was atrocious.

To be fair, I think he's just talking about season openers. Auric, the three brutal ones of 00, 01, and 02. I attneded all three. Just brutal.....I don't think I've ever been more disappointed or embarrassed as a Vandy Fan then after the 2001 MTSU game, just brutal.....

I mean, a 53 yard FG is impressive. When's the last time Vandy had a kicker that could make one from that distance?
