Re: Why are some disappointed so far?
Since people keep bringing up a former coach that beat Grambling this year, if he had had to coach last night's game with two starters out, we could've had a lot worse of a loss considering how things went for him with one major starter out. So we need to focus on our own situation. As you may or m...

Re: Hugh Freeze to be named Auburn's next coach
Freeze is a stupidity time bomb waiting to detonate. He has the discretion and self control of a toddler. If he'd been anywhere other than Liberty, he would have been fired over his tweeting the woman suing their AD. Should we do an over/under on how long it takes for Hugh to get in trouble? I'd put...

Re: Thoughts on Vandy's loss to Tennessee
We were embarrassingly bad yesterday. I am not saying we could have won the game, but we should have played much better than we did. It's an actual insult to refer to Lea as Mason 2.0 since Mason never lost that badly to UT. Lea needs new coordinators ASAP. He also needs to attend some coaching clin...

Re: Successful Season
Snapping the streak and doubling our win total from last year makes this a successful season. Very happy for the win. I wish we could have won the last two games, too. We'd be bowl eligible if we had.

Re: Very concerned
Stack can't let go of the NBA like teams and wants us to be one of them, with a team that has no offensive concept except to play bull in a china shop basketball with sloppy drives or launching 3's with shooters who can't hit the broad side of a barn. This is exactly what I've been seeing since Sta...

Re: Growing up in Nashville...
Pippin made us look better than we actually were last season. Without him, we aren't any good. I agree with Auric that, while recruiting is fairing well under Stack, retention and fit are big problems. So is the lack of strong coaching in some areas. We never look prepared and are sloppy on the offe...

This includes the AD. I've never seen such a mealy mouthed response from our administration.bernstml19 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 12:10 pm Well time to fire everyone again…. Honestly probably couldn’t hurt anything

Re: I would rather lose this way…..
We can no longer be competitive utilizing a conventional offense. What we run must be different and difficult to scheme for. We should be running an air raid, a hurry-up spread or a hybrid option offense like Tulane's or Coastal Carolina's. Any of these would give us a schematic advantage. For the l...

Re: Stack looks confident
Perhaps Stack is good enough of a coach that he can identify solid talent in the portal that's good enough to make a difference now. Felt like he did that last year. Terren Franks says Hi. Yeah. Frank was added after Stack’s initial post-season hire when pickings were very slim and he simply needed...

Re: Asst coach Dan Jackson (DBs) inserts himself into the Kanye West mess on social media
What an unmitigated disaster! This guy should have been fired on Friday. There is no reason why he should be around our players and on our campus any longer. His job performance had already merited a termination.
Just another example of Clark Lea's inability to assemble a good staff.

Re: 6:30 pm CT kickoff, SEC Network for Vandy-South Carolina
We haven’t beaten South Carolina in 13 tries… If we do, we should probably storm the field. Or I guess we should ask someone in Knoxville, do you have to wait 15+ Years? Since Charleston finds such behavior distasteful, he will likely disagree but I say go for it. Unfortunately, the Event Staff sec...

Re: We should have hired an offense-oriented coach
Heupel is not a genius. He simply puts 4 WRs wide out and forces opposing D to go man to man....a QB dream. And with a QB that can run it sure keeps Ds on their toes. Heupel may not be a genius, but he is 6-0, has the nation's #1 ranked offense and is fresh off a victory over AL. Whatever he's doin...

Not sure why the urgency to re-up CJS right now, aside from reassuring recruits. Who else is conceivably coming after him? I would have rather VU waited to see how the season goes without Pippen before committing to more years with him.
