Re: QMB announces he's returning next year
I hope he practices shooting from three...not sarcastic. Luke was even taller and hit 3's on a regular basis. And Dawid Przybyszewski hit 43 and 45% from deep at VU in two of his seasons. And that was on a pretty solid sample size from three. And Liam had a good three point shot. I am pretty sure a...

I still don’t like the lsu matchup … no they cannot shoot but they play big and mean. not a good matchup for us.

Re: Bracketology
This is why after the non-conference the # of admittance to the tournament should be distributed by conference according to win-shares and entrants should be ranked according to conference record. This way VU could borrow from those who didn't lose to SoMiss and Grambling. FWIW you look at Gramling'...

It’s a shame Disu isn’t here helping at the 5 though he probably is an expert by now in the different grains and varieties of various Texas pine trees.

Re: Stackhouse on 102.5 The Game: Robbins getting surgery, out for season
Liam is the best big in VU history IMO. I've not been around as long as many on the board. but since I attended VU in '01 he is by far the best big we have had on both ends. I think this is actually true. Something clicked or he got healthy mid year. Post moves like ogilvy, power like festus, and c...

This bought him at least 2-3 more even-record seasons from me. Especially in this NIL era of rooting for a truly minor league basketball team, very old school. Can’t go full Bryce tho.

Re: UK
I am actually not sure it changes much. The analytics say a thing and we have a big enough sample size of inconsistency that even a win at Rupp probably won’t pull us up ahead that much. Kenpom, NET, etc all are going to have us in the 60s+ even if we win out and get to the SEC tourney finals.

Basketball players get more minutes when uninjured. Hot take alert This might be pretty truthy. We can't know whether or not he had a nagging injury keeping him limited earlier in the season, since you're generally supposed to be hush hush about that (in particular, nagging big man injuries can hav...
