Re: If it weren't for the electronic ticket requirement
THANK GOD that my wife knows how to navigate the app for the electronic ticketing (I can't do it, but I think it really is pretty easy). Regarding the sharing of tickets . . . . again, we've been "screen shooting/texting photos" for years without any problem. EXAMPLE - I regularly let my w...

?Schedule?
This is the latest I can remember for the release of our schedule. Wonder what the hold up is? They need to get it out soon to begin to promote ticket sales. Anybody know anything?

Re: SEC Network: Clark Lea is building a brotherhood at Vandy
I love it and think we have guys like Wright (last year), Seals (right now) and McAllister who are working to live, or be, Coach Lea's "vision". We will see how it plays out next year with the TRANSFER PORTAL -- how many look for a "better vision"?

Re: Hawaii Game
You better contact the ticket office and inquire. My wife and I were out there for the baseball series in March and their football stadium is right next to the baseball field -- the football stadium is REALLY SMALL -- like high school small. Probably seats 4,000 if that. It could be a tough ticket s...

Re: SEC announces SEC games for 2022-23
As a former coach, I don't like to whine (bring 'um on boys! The tougher the better); however, does anyone have a tougher three "permanent" than us? Tennessee will always be tough for us whether they are good or bad. Florida is always up near the top and Kentucky . . . enough said. There r...

Never GIVE UP!!
Great job by the Ole Miss coach to keep his team POSITIVE and FIGHTING! On Monday, May 2 the Rebels were 24-19 (7-14 in the SEC) and going nowhere. They proceeded to finish the season 18-4, losing a series to A&M, losing to US SV# in that first SEC Tourney game, and to Arkansas last week. They w...

Re: CWS Prediction CONTEST
Without a 3rd place game - the team the Champion (Ole Miss) beat in the semi's to get to the championship series would be the hypothetical 3rd place finisher ..... so it's ARKANSAS.

Re: Michigan coach and former VU asst Erik Bakich takes Clemson job
Corbs seems to like scheduling games and fall series with folks he has worked with/admires. ie, series with Ok State (Holliday), games with Michigan (Backich), annual game with Louisville (McDonnell) . . . this could mean that we will see Clemson on the schedule sometime in the upcoming years. Good ...

If you want to go ahead and consider Texas and Oklahoma part of the SEC since they will join in a couple of years then 6 of the 8 are "SEC". The league only gets tougher!

Re: What were Darren McFarland & Willie Daunic talking about in the Vanderbilt radio broadcast?
I didn't hear the 102.5 segment you are talking about, but I have heard that an ESPN commentator stated on TV, without any research/verification, that the UT catcher who missed Friday night in their Regional opener had tested positive for performance enhancing drugs and was done for the season. This...

Re: Who's coming and who's going?
Coming off an injury/surgery is always a question mark. But, Sam Hliboki and Michael Doolin have pitched pretty well during their limited time at Vandy. They are on the list as draft eligible Juniors, but I'd think a pro team would want to see how they perform before drafting them. Does anyone know ...

Re: tonight
I've long heard about a "bullpen" day for starting pitchers -- evidently a day a pitcher seriously throws a bit between starts. If TODAY would be Holton's "bullpen" day, would he be available for an inning or at least to throw to a lefty in a key situation? I'd think Holton would...

Re: VU signee Jameson Wharton earns three medals in state track meet
16 athletes qualify in Tennessee in the largest classification AAA (top 4 from the 4 sections in the state - West, Middle, Southeast and East). The top 8 make the podium and medal. Conditions were horrible during the Long Jump Thursday morning - hard rain and BIG headwind. Bad headwind was still in ...

North Alabama?
Was there ever any word on if the North Alabama game would be made up?
PS - it was good to see Maldo make a return to the line-up Sunday. Hopefully he will stay healthy and be able to return to form as the remainder of the season progresses!

SEC Major League Teams
I'm throwing this together in about 10 minutes (without much research) basically off the top of my head. Watching the game today I thought it would be fun if we VandyManiacs put our heads together and take former SEC major leaguers and make Major League Teams out of those alumni from each of the 13 ...

Do the announcers work for Vandy or "Learfield"? (whatever the name of broadcast company . . . I can't remember) If it's "Learfield" to what extent does a university have in giving the "Learfield" employee a second chance. Who do our announcers actually work for, and un...

Re: Christian Little suspended
Remember when Coach suspended Austin Martin? Later, in an interview, he said he told Austin, "This place isn't for everyone. It's OK if you don't want to stick around". Martin made the correct decision. Who knows what the deal is. I hope Christian gets things figured out.
